The new editions Brutale dragster are the absolute protagonists of the new MV Augusta 2021 models.
The Schiranna brand reveals details and features of the new three-cylinder range. The naked proposals proposed this year are equipped with Euro 5 approved low friction engines, have aggressive lines, a renewed electronic compartment, a new gearbox and an unusual bike.

New models MV Augusta 2021: Brutale RR
The new MV Augusta Brutale RR has updated the engine, cycling, electronics and enriched the equipment.
Despite euro 5 approval, the power of 140 horsepower at 12,300 rpm and 87 Nm of maximum torque at 10,250 laps is confirmed. The bike reaches 244 km/h of maximum speed against a dry weight of 175 kg.
The 798cc three-cylinder front-facing engine improves dispensing and character thanks to a liquid and oil-cooled counter-rotating shaft supported by separate radiators.
The efficiency of the engine has been improved by reducing internal friction thanks to the use of new Dlc-treated cups and valve guides made with new materials.
The other features concern redesigned injectors that raise the pressure from 3.5 to 4 bar to improve fuel atomization, manual/automatic clutch, high efficiency and totally redesigned exhaust system, precision gas management thanks to a new electronic control unit.
The Als tubular steel frame supported by new side plates improves longitudinal and torsional stiffness.
The front suspension optimized the Marzocchi hydraulic fork with aluminum inverted stems to ensure a better balance between the front and rear. The rear suspension uses an adjustable Sachs single shock absorber with updated spring and calibration. The new third generation Eas 3.0 electronic gearbox integrates a new sensor.
With the new Brutale RR debuts the Imu inertial platform designed exclusively by e-Novia for MV Agusta that allows flc traction and soaring control, the Abs with cornering function.
The new 5.5"' colour TFT dashboard dialogues with the MVRide App via mobile phone to customize the bike in every aspect. The riding experience improves with a more comfortable double saddle and a light and simple ate frame.
MV Agusta Brutale RR 2021, available in grey/black and red/grey, is sold for 17,250 euros.
MV Augusta Brutale RR SCS and Brutale Red
The Brutale RR version proposed in SCS version has particular characteristics.
The innovative Smart clutch system developed by the Schiranna brand in tandem with Rekluse allows you to manage the gearbox without operating the clutch lever.
The braking system consists of two front discs of 320 mm with 4-piston Brembo radial caliper and a single rear disc of 220 mm with brembo clamp with 2 pistons.
The entry level version of the Brutale range is the Brutale Red. It maintains the same cycling and technological innovations to the engine as the others. Unlike the other Brutale sisters, the Red has the depowered thruster: 112 horsepower at 11,000 rpm, torque of 85 Nm at 8,500 rpm. It has a top speed of 237 km/h.
The MV Augusta Brutale Is also available in a limited power 35 kW version.
The Brutale RR SCS is on sale for 17,750 euros in red/gray, grey/black, while the red Brutale (available in red/grey) is priced at 13,650 euros.
MV Augusta Dragster RR
Schiranna's brand has also launched the restyling for MV Augusta Dragster but her personality remains unique, impossible to imitate, responsive, exuberant and powerful, elegant with its spoked wheels. It is renewed without upheaval, maintaining the aggression and charm that has always distinguished it.
The electronic management of the Dragster RR SCS's 140 hp and 87 Nm three-cylinder engine is constantly evolving. Its extreme responsiveness combined with the advanced Smart Clutch system allows it to reach a maximum speed of 244 km/h with a dry weight of 175 kg.
In 2021, the Dragster RR 2021 is even more sporty for the improvements completely similar to the Brutale made to the chassis, engine, electronics, gearbox.
The 978 cc three-cylinder engine is updated to euro 5 with new clutch, reduced internal friction, more precise EAS 3.0 gearbox. The power is confirmed at 140 horsepower at 12,300 rpm and 87 Nm of maximum torque at 10,250 rpm.
The frame plates have been redesigned to increase torsional and longitudinal rigidity, the rear single-shock system with more progressive levers and the setting for the Marzocchi 43 mm fork have been renewed.
The saddle has been made with a new foamed material, the full LED front optical group has the cornering function, the flyscreen profile has been modified for greater aerodynamic effectiveness.
Like the Brutale, Dragster features:
- a new six-axis IMU inertial platform;
- completely redesigned exhaust system;
- faster and faster Quick-Shift Eas 3.0 gearbox;
- new injectors and a firmware of the renewed control unit to better manage the gas;
- 5.5-inch color TFT dashboard that dialogues with the MVRide App via smartphone;
- LED headlight with cornering function.
MV Augusta Dragster RR SCS, RR SCS RC and Dragster Red
The SCS version of the MV Augusta Dragster RR takes advantage of the Smart Clutch System. The front brakes have a double floating disc of 320 mm, the rear ones a 220 mm steel disc. The MV Augusta Dragster RR SCS is available for 20,000 euros.
The exclusive 150-horsepower Dragster RR SCS RC variant, made in just 200 numbered and certified pieces, features livery inspired by the Moto2 and Supersport teams, carbon body parts, aluminum forged rims. The optional racing kit provides a SC-Project exhaust terminal and control unit with mapping. It costs 22,600 euros.
The naked entry level Dragster Rosso benefits from the family's upgrades with its 112 Hp three-cylinder engine and a top speed of 237 km/h. It is also available with a limited power of 35 kW. It is on sale for the price of 14,900 euros.
